IBCG Centers

This global effort brings together leading experts, patients, and advocates to advance patient-centered care in bladder cancer. Our efforts focus on empowering patients, personalizing treatment, and promoting lifelong wellness through shared decision-making, technology integration, supportive care, survivorship planning, and equitable access. We are developing practical resources—including patient-reported outcomes, educational tools, decision aids, and survivorship materials—while amplifying the work of partners and IBCG members worldwide.

Young Onset Bladder Cancer Center
The Young Onset Bladder Cancer (YOBC) Center is a dedicated initiative of the International Bladder Cancer Group (IBCG), developed in close collaboration with the Bladder Cancer Advocacy Network (BCAN). This center brings together clinicians, researchers, and patient advocates to address the unique clinical, genetic, and psychosocial dimensions of bladder cancer in younger individuals.
Through global data-sharing, robust patient engagement, and focused research efforts, the YOBC Center is committed to advancing age-appropriate treatment strategies, raising awareness, and driving innovation in care tailored to this distinct patient population.
Global Registry for Bladder Cancer
The Global Registry for Bladder Cancer, launched in October 2024, is a landmark initiative by IBCG aimed at unifying international efforts to collect, harmonize, and analyze real-world data across the spectrum of bladder cancer care. Designed as a comprehensive, multi-institutional platform, the registry enables longitudinal tracking of patient outcomes, treatment patterns, and biomarker integration, with the ultimate goal of informing clinical practice, guiding policy, and accelerating research globally.
Health Service Research Center
The Health Services Research (HSR) arm of the IBCG is a global collaborative hub for advancing population-based health services research in bladder cancer. Through the development and use of robust databases and innovative methodologies, the HSR team is committed to generating actionable insights to improve the quality, accessibility, and efficiency of bladder cancer care worldwide.
