IBCG 2025 Travel Award for Fellows and Early-Career Faculty

The International Bladder Cancer Group (IBCG) is pleased to announce the IBCG 2025 Travel Award, designed to support outstanding fellows and early-career academic faculty who are committed to advancing the field of bladder cancer.

This award offers a unique opportunity to participate in the IBCG 2025 Annual Retreat – a working meeting where global thought leaders collaborate on consensus statements, best practices, and high-impact research initiatives in bladder cancer.

Eligibility Criteria

Applicants must:

1. Be a current fellow or junior faculty member eligible for IBCG Trainee Membership

2. Be nominated by a participating IBCG 2025 faculty mentor

3. Be available for the full meeting (August 21–23, 2025)

Award Details

– Up to $1,000 in travel support
– Complimentary hotel stay for 2 nights (August 21–23, 2025)
– Full participation in the IBCG 2025 Retreat at Hotel Zaza, Houston, Texas

Awardees will engage directly in expert panel discussions, consensus-building activities, and strategic collaborations—gaining valuable exposure to international leaders in bladder cancer research and care.

Selection Criteria

– Demonstrated commitment to academic bladder cancer
– Strength of mentor’s endorsement
– Potential for meaningful, ongoing contributions to IBCG efforts and collaborations

– Curriculum Vitae (include current role, institution, and contact information)

– Personal statement (describe your interest in bladder cancer, career goals, and what you hope to gain from attending the meeting)

– Letter of support from your mentor (must confirm your eligibility and speak to your potential to advance the IBCG mission and contribute to bladder cancer care)
