IBCG 2026 Travel Award for Fellows and Early-Career Faculty
The International Bladder Cancer Group (IBCG) launched the IBCG Travel Award in 2025 to support outstanding fellows and early-career academic faculty committed to advancing the field of bladder cancer. The program is now offered annually to provide emerging leaders the opportunity to participate in the IBCG Annual Retreat.
The IBCG Annual Retreat is a working meeting where global thought leaders collaborate to develop consensus statements, best practices, and high-impact research initiatives that shape the future of bladder cancer care.
Eligibility Criteria
Applicants must:
1. Be a current fellow or junior faculty member eligible for IBCG membership
2. Be nominated by a participating IBCG faculty mentor
3. Be available to attend the full IBCG Annual Retreat
Award Details(2026 Cycle)
– Up to $1,000 in travel support
– Complimentary hotel stay for 2 nights
– Full participation in the IBCG Annual Retreat
Location: Houston, Texas
Dates: August 27–29, 2026
Awardees will engage directly in expert panel discussions, consensus-building activities, and strategic collaborations, gaining valuable exposure to international leaders in bladder cancer research and care.
Selection Criteria
– Demonstrated commitment to academic bladder cancer
– Strength of mentor’s endorsement
– Potential for meaningful and ongoing contributions to IBCG efforts and collaborations

Submit the following materials to members@ibcg.info:
– Curriculum Vitae (include current role, institution, and contact information)
– Personal statement describing your interest in bladder cancer, career goals, and what you hope to gain from participating in the IBCG Retreat
– Letter of support from your mentor confirming your eligibility and outlining your potential to contribute to the IBCG mission and the advancement of bladder cancer care.
