I am very excited to be a part of the Center for Patient-Centric Care Initiatives. This will be a global collaboration for patient-centered bladder cancer care to empower the lives of patients, personalize treatment, minimize toxicity and financial burden, and improve survivorship.
The IBCG is uniquely positioned to lead this formative program, bringing together international, multidisciplinary thought leaders with the common goal of empowering patients and their carers along the spectrum of bladder cancer care.
The patients are the reason for everything we strive to do and should have a central role in our mindset and culture, aiming for a personalized model of care and transformative patient-driven research.
